I have to concede, I haven’t seen all of this. I actually stumbled onto the live feed from the White House last week, and what I stumbled onto was really good. Amber Riley, from Glee, was belting out a total classic. I saw Nick Jonas there. Mark Salling, also from Glee, also rocked.

The good news, with all these young ‘uns to attract your young ‘uns, there’s a great chance your kids will be willing to check out some of this great classic popular music that they might not otherwise be interested in. And it is great music – just listening to Stevie Wonder singing “You Are the Sunshine of My Life” sent chills down my spine. Then all the performers got together and sang Dancin’ In the Streets. It simply rocked.

So give it a shot and let us know how your kids liked it.
