Why assume that Terra Nova is a little microcosm of American society at all? Maybe they're mostly coming from Sweden, or Eastern Europe, they don't specify in the show. All you're displaying is your own ignorance and narcissism - that people from the 22nd century should display your own 21st century values. In the show they explain numerous times that the selection process for entering Terra Nova is based upon merit, not affirmative action. So perhaps the majority of qualified candidates are white - again, so what? 517 astronauts have travelled into space, and out of that number only 14 have been black. So are you going to claim that NASA is racist next, because minorities are under-represented? Why should your personal agenda be shoved down viewer’s throats?
